In an adrenaline-charged third week of the Exeter Monday 5-a-side Football league, all eyes were on the Premier League and Division 1 teams who battled it out on the pitch in a show of grit, talent, and sportsmanship.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, Tinpot Town FC showed their dominance with a staggering 28-2 victory over Lentil Lads. Their impressive performance was echoed by Borussia Teeth who trounced Unathletico Madrid 15-5, showcasing their strength and skill. However, the highlight of the Premier League division was the riveting match between Piers In Paris and Monkeys. The Monkeys stole the show with a final score of 10-6, mainly thanks to the outstanding performance of Alf Smith, who was rightly crowned the most valued player of the week.
DIVISION ONE
Over in Division 1, Dartmoor Tree Surgeons FC carved out a definitive 10-2 victory against The Coly 5. Their decisive win was outshined by The Jackson Five's commanding performance, netting 14 goals against Net Six And Chill's 2. The top scorers in this division displayed a level of skill and tenacity that promises an exciting season ahead.
