Title: "Thrilling Finale Marks the Close of Gillingham Monday Football League"

As the floodlights dimmed on the Gillingham Monday Football League, the thrilling final matches of the season marked an exhilarating end to the competition in both Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, Palmerston VI displayed an impressive performance, defeating I Like Chips with a six-goal haul, a scoreline that ended 6-2. Equally successful were SPORTING A BIERGUT, who mirrored their counterparts, defeating Beanview with a 6-2 scoreline. The highlight of the night, however, was the nail-biting battle between Medway Magics and Stella Kings, which ended 5-4 in Stella Kings' favor.

After a fierce season of competition, it was ultimately SPORTING A BIERGUT who triumphed, securing their top spot with a grand total of 28 points and an impressive 14 wins.

In Division 1, Sheffield Thursday and Paralympique Marseille locked horns, with the latter coming out on top, winning 2-1. HIGHAM PREMIER 6 lost against the Gravy Seals with a close score of 2-1. The Purple Cobras outshined MBFC with a 7-1 victory, while CLASS ON GRASS was defeated 10-4 by Uptown Dunk.

Despite the intense competition, The Purple Cobras emerged as the champions of Division 1, accumulating an admirable 22 points and notching up 10 wins.

It was an enthralling end to the season as both the Premier League and Division 1 divisions saw some exceptional football. The top scorers of the season remain unmentioned but their performances on the field echoed their remarkable skills.

Congratulations to the winning teams, SPORTING A BIERGUT and The Purple Cobras, for their outstanding performances throughout the season. Their victories have set the bar high for the next season and we can't wait to see what next season will bring.
