Weston Monday Football News Update

Another mild nigth in Weston-super-Mare last night, however, this sickness bug that is currently sweeping the town continued to take its toll.

Bareley Athletic, feeling even less Athletic than usual, called in late to cancel their fixture. This left just one League fixture to report, with Green Pete Elite on a points match.

La-Lla-Na Land and 2 Girls 1 Schlupp took to the field, both determined to bag some points. It was full on end to end action, in a high tempo face off.

Eventually though 2 Girls 1 Schlupp broke the deadlock and sloted one home, at the final whistle, this was the only goal and they took the win.

We are looking forward to next week's fixtures, where we should be back to full strength.
