W-S-M Sunday Weekly News Update

It was Match Week 4 in the Sunday League, and it was yet another chilly night of football. There were som really good matches scheduled and some important results.

In the Premier League, Tekker Slovakia returned to winning ways with a 6 - 0 win over The good, The Bad and The Ugly, as they look to make their way back to the top spot.

The Squirells, remain in the top spot on goal difference alone, as they suffered their first Premier League defeat against a determined Groggy Season, who smashed 4 past the League leaders without response.

A tight match between Murder on Zidanes Floor and Nuts United, ended in a 1-1 draw, with neither team able to break the deadlock.

Division 1 

Academicals march on in Division 1, yet to lose a game and took an impressive 11-2 win over Expected Toulouse. They seem in the early stages to be Premier League contenders this season!

Nuts United B sit second in the table, and took a 4-1 win over the Division new boys Seshiktas.

Perhaps the tightest game of the night was between Chamakh My Pitch Up and AFC Dry Lunch. They played out a high energy match with Chamakh edgeing the win 3-2.

Net Six and Chill took a leisurely 3-0 win over West Ham Egg N Chips and remain above them in the table but only on the goal difference they made last night.

Division 2 

With Apollo Creed failing to attand again this week, they will be contacted to discuss their intentions going forward.  With this, Ivory Toast pick up a points match win. 

99 Problems don't seem to having any in this division as they took their 4th win in a row, with an 8-0 drumming of Real Lee Sheet.

Beyer Neverlusen also continue to march on, took an 8-2 win over No Cabbages Just Worldies.

Division 3 

Benteke Fried Chicken, also 4 for 4 after last nights match, look solid at the top of the table, they took a 4-1 win over Hamstrung.

Weston Warriors picked up their second win of the season, with a 7-3 win over Wags!! 

Ninja Skrtels and Jewventus went head to head in a tightly fought battle on the park.  Ninja Skrtels took the win 3-2  and remain in a solid second spot.

We have a new arrival starting in this Division next week - Chicken Tikka Mo-Salah enter the league in week 5.  Will they add a different dimension to the division?

We return next week for Match Week 5, and we are looking forward to it already.
