It was a strange night in the Sunday League, with many teams struggling for players. Maybe they were all at the 90's Disco at the Tropicana Saturday Night?
Premier League - The Champions returned this week, to face the Premier League new boys; Murder on Zidanes Floor. Tekker Slovakia paid a heavy price for taking a week off, and went down to Murder 4-1.
Woodworks arrived looking for a second win of the season, but, an on form, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly also came to the pitch hungry for the win. It was a close fought match throughout with The Good, The Bad and The Ugly edging it 2-1.
Groggy Season came looking to get some points on the board, and faced an ever present Nuts United. They dug deep and got their rewards taking a 4-2 win.
Division 1 - Academicals, having taken promotion to the Division as a Third place finisher, looked to continue their form and take home the glory. This they did, with a 4-2 win over Net Six and Chill. Academicals hold fast in second place, on Goal Difference.
Another new comer to the Division, Expected Toulouse, who suffered a division welcoming loss last week, arrived determined to take some points. This they did as they fired 3 past AFC Dry Lunch with out reply. It could have been more if a player had kept his nerve and scored a penalty!
Division 2 - Last seasons rivalry re-ignited on Match Week 2 as Bayer Neverlusen and 99 Problems faced off again! It was a battle of epic proportions as always but this time 99 Problems took the glory, with a 3-1 win.
Another well matched game came with Apollo Creed facing Real Lee Sheet. Both teams as determined as ever, played out of their skins. In the end it went Apollo Creeds way but only by a 1-0 margin.
Division 3 - Weston Warriors picked up their first win of the season, a 2-0 win over Hamstrung! Warriors have kept their spirit up every week and finally the fruits of their hard work have paid off.
But.. The result of the night goes to Benteke Fried Chicken as they fired on all cylinders and slotted 7 passed Jewventus without response.
We are looking forward to seeing what comes next week!
