LOCAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE CONCLUDES WITH DRAMATIC FINALS
In a thrilling end to the season, the Weston-super-mare Thursday League, a celebrated 6-a-side football league, concluded with an evening of fierce competition. This season, the spotlight was on the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.
In the Premier League, Boomsakalaka FC emerged victorious with a commanding 5-1 win over Multiple Scoregasm, securing the league title with an impressive total of 19 points and 9 wins. Scoops FC's Paul Stead stole the show with a total of 2 goals, earning him the title of the division's top scorer.
The action was no less intense in Division 1, where the Sean Dyche Fan Club FC steamrolled 4thefuture with an astonishing 13-0 victory. West Beef FC clinched the league title with a total of 15 points and 7 wins. Ross Sharp of West Beef FC showcased his skills, becoming the division's top scorer with a commendable 4 goals.
Division 2 saw a tighter competition. The title went to Shakthar Senseless, who cinched it with a total of 15 points and 6 wins. Geriatricos 2020's James took home the honor of being the Division's top scorer, netting a goal in their 1-1 draw against Shakthar Senseless.
