LEAGUE CANCELLED FOR TWO WEEKS OVER CHRISTMAS!

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WORTHING MONDAY 6 A SIDE LEAGUE WILL HAVE A TWO WEEK BREAK OVER THE CHRISTMAS PERIOD, MEANING MATCHES ON 23RD AND 30TH DECEMBER WILL BE CANCELLED.  

WE WILL RETURN TO ACTION AS NORMAL ON MONDAY 6TH JANUARY 2025 - WE WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO WISH ALL TEAMS A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM ALL AT LEISURE LEAGUES.


In the Premier League, Worthing Wanderers enjoyed an impressive start by defeating PUKKI 22 B. with a score of 4-1. Worthing Rovers also set the pitch alight with a dominant 8-0 victory against BayernMunchies. The most closely contested match in this division was between MasDog And Duck and BOWEN VAPORS, with the former clinching a 3-2 win.


In Division 1, Cream Of The South stole the limelight, registering a whopping 13-0 win against Urban Strikers. Haven't Got A Kalou also flexed their muscles with a 7-0 victory over STELLA SOUNDERS FC. The tightest match saw Expected Toulouse edging out HUSSARS FC 4-3.


Smooth sailing for ReCog in Division 2, scoring a 9-3 victory over LA DAIRY MILK. COB FC also started their season on a winning note, beating Rusty Club 2-0. However, the thriller of the night was Paris Ain't German overcoming Lads On Toure 5-3.


Finally, in Division 3, Diddys Dynamos and Brexit Tarring each scored 7 goals against their respective opponents, Pathetico Madrid and DISUNITED, while Asda United secured a solid 5-0 win against Big MacAllister & Fries.


Top scorers for each division were as follows: Premier League - Worthing Rovers, Division 1 - Cream Of The South, Division 2 - ReCog, and Division 3 - Diddys Dynamos and Brexit Tarring.
