In a thrilling start to the season, the Worthing Monday 6 a side Football League kicked off with some high-scoring matches and a few surprising results.
In the Premier League, the night was filled with energetic football and excellent teamwork. Worthing Wanderers faced a tough defeat against 3 For 100?, losing 9-3 in a match that set the pace for the season. In another high-scoring game, Worthing Rovers triumphed over HUSSARS FC with an 8-4 score. JCI FC kept a clean sheet, defeating VAPORS 4-0, while Panda FC claimed a 5-2 victory against MK's Dons.
Division 1 matches were no less exciting. Brexit Ball V2 claimed a hard-fought victory over She Was Only XI, winning 7-5. Cream Of The South secured a 3-1 win against PUKKI 22 B., and Harrys Stiff steamrolled past Link Romania, winning 5-0. LA DAIRY MILK also began their season with a victory, defeating BayernMunchies 4-2.
In Division 2, The Seaview Sluts dominated Asda United, winning 11-2. STELLA SOUNDERS FC edged past Just Matip in a tightly contested match, winning 3-2. Bowen Balcony wiped out Pathetico Madrid, taking home an 11-0 victory, while Expected Toulouse routed Mo Leicesters FC 13-1.
The excitement continued in Division 3, as Super Striker Squad overpowered Big MacAllister & Fries, winning 8-2. In another game, SRD claimed victory over DISUNITED, winning 5-3.
As the season has just begun, it's too early to predict the top contenders in each division. However, the top scorers for each division as of now are 3 For 100? in the Premier League, Brexit Ball V2 in Division 1, The Seaview Sluts in Division 2, and Super Striker Squad in Division 3. These teams set an impressive standard in the opening week and will be the ones to watch as the season progresses.
