Monday 10th February - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night, the only disappointment being Worthing Rovers, who failed to notify us for a second week running, they have now been removed from the league.

We are pleased to welcome new team Red Rockets FC to the league as a replacement for the above, and wish them good luck going into their first game on Monday 17th February!

In the Premier League, Panda FC put on an impressive offensive show, thrashing BayernMunchies 19-2, while Bowen Vapors edged out Future FC 8-6 in a closely fought match. The night ended with a nail-biting encounter between Worthing Wanderers and MasDog And Duck, with the latter eking out a 3-2 victory.

The Division 1 league showcased some stunning play, and it was Stella Sounders FC who made a statement with an 8-0 victory over Urban Strikers. Ford Focus also enjoyed a resounding 7-0 win against Colonel Getafe, while Expected Toulouse pulled off a 3-2 win against Cream Of The South. In another high-scoring match, 2 GOALS 1 CUP beat HUSSARS FC 7-2.

Division 2 saw COB FC take a firm 7-3 victory against Lads On Toure, while ReCog outplayed Scofi Active with a 7-1 win. The Worthing Wolverines triumphed over Diddys Disciples FC 5-2, and Rusty Club emerged victorious against LA DAIRY MILK with an 8-6 win.

In Division 3, FAT STEAMY WOOD bested Pathetico Madrid 5-2, while Asda United handed Stagecoach Worthing a 14-0 defeat. DISUNITED beat Diddys Dynamos 7-2, and Brexit Tarring secured a 4-1 win over Big MacAllister & Fries.
