Monday 13th January - Worthing Round-Up

Another superb evening's football was enjoyed by all in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all four divisions and some well competed matches played.


In the Premier League, nail-biting encounters and impressive performances were the order of the day. The match between Worthing Wanderers and Bowen Vapors was the highlight of the week, with the latter edging out a high-scoring thriller 7-6. Other significant matches saw Pukki 22 B. dominate BayernMunchies with a 5-1 victory, and Panda FC's strong performance against MasDog And Duck, winning 5-2.


Division 1 also witnessed its share of drama. The most exciting match was Rage Quit FC's narrow 6-5 victory over 2 Goals 1 Cup. Elsewhere, Stella Sounders FC and Cream Of The South played out a 3-3 draw, while Expected Toulouse secured an emphatic 5-1 win against Colonel Getafe.


In Division 2, the standout performance came from Hussars FC, who claimed a resounding 8-1 victory over Urban Strikers. ReCog also put on an impressive display, defeating COB FC 8-3. Meanwhile, Rusty Club displayed their prowess with a 7-0 win against Lads On Toure.


The Division 3 saw some spectacular scores as well. Asda United and Fat Steamy Wood had a 10-goal thriller, with Asda United coming out on top, winning 6-4. Stagecoach Worthing had a tough day at the office, losing 8-0 to Diddys Dynamos.
