Monday 20th January - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league overall this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled barring a couple of cancellations, who we look forward to seeing return next week.


In the Premier League, we saw a gripping battle between Bowen Vapors and Worthing Rovers. Worthing Rovers claimed victory in a tightly contested match, edging out Bowen Vapors with a final score of 4-3. The other match saw Panda FC beat PUKKI 22 B. in a high scoring game with a stunning scoreline of 8-5, showing their attacking prowess.


In Division 1, Hussars FC demonstrated their dominance by dispatching Colonel Getafe with a firm 5-1 victory. Expected Toulouse also had a strong showing against Stella Sounders FC, coming out on top with a 4-1 win. 2 Goals 1 Cup put on a scoring masterclass, netting 9 goals against Urban Strikers who managed 2. Cream Of The South also pulled off a thrilling victory against Rage Quit FC with a narrow win of 5-4.


The action was equally fierce in Division 2 where Lads On Toure outscored Scofi Active 7-5. COB FC also recorded a victory over LA Dairy Milk with a scoreline of 4-2.


In Division 3, Pathetico Madrid put on a sensational performance scoring 14 goals to nil against Stagecoach Worthing. Diddys Dynamos and Big MacAllister & Fries ended up sharing the spoils with a 2-2 draw, while Disunited and Asda United also tied at 1-1. Fat Steamy Wood edged out Brexit Tarring in a closely fought 3-2 victory.
