Monday 25th September - Worthing End of Season Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night for the final game of the season, the only exception being FC Boca Seniors who will be spoken to accordingly for the new season.


In the Premier League division, Worthing Rovers outshone their contenders with a dominant 6-2 victory over JCI FC, clinching the title with an overall tally of 23 points and 10 wins. They led the top scorer chart in this division, demonstrating their prowess throughout the season.


Division 1 saw a riveting face-off, which ultimately saw Arseanal secure the title. With an impressive 11 win record and a total of 23 points, they were the clear winners.   They will be joined in the Premier Division by Vapors who finished in second place, and ended the season with a 7-1 triumph over Pukki 22 B.


In Division 2, Brexit Ball FC's superior performance earned them the season's title. They ended the season on a high note with a 5-1 victory over 3 For 100? They amassed a total of 23 points and 11 wins throughout the season, making them the standout team in the division.  A 10-1 hammering of Tarring FC sees Cream of the South join them as a promoted team for the upcoming campaign.


Lastly, Division 3 was dominated by Havana Club. They ended the season with a hard-fought 6-3 victory over STELLA SOUNDERS FC. Their exceptional performance throughout the season was reflected in their total of 26 points and 13 wins, earning them the title.  Second place went to Lads on Toure in an incredibly tight end to the season, they held their nerve and claimed a 4-1 win over Big Macallister & Fries.
