Monday 29th July - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night, the only exception being Pukki 22 B who we look forward to seeing return on Monday 5th August.

In the Premier League, an exciting match ensued between JCI FC and 3 For 100? ending in a 1-1 draw. Panda FC came out victorious in a high-scoring duel against Worthing Wanderers, putting up five goals to Wanderers' three. However, it was Worthing Rovers who stole the spotlight with their emphatic 7-1 victory over VAPORS, showcasing an impressive performance.

The competition in Division 1 was also fierce. Harrys Stiff made their mark with an astonishing 10-3 win against Utc United in a high-paced encounter. BayernMunchies also displayed a dominant performance, outscoring Cream Of The South 6-1.

Division 2 saw two evenly contested matches end in draws. Bowen Balcony and Asda United, as well as Expected Toulouse and Just Matip, went toe-to-toe with 4-4 draws. There were no goals scored in the face-offs between Mo Leicesters FC and The Seaview Sluts, and Pathetico Madrid and STELLA SOUNDERS FC, both games ending in a stalemate.

In Division 3, ReCog fell short against Big MacAllister & Fries, with a 2-4 loss. COB FC triumphed over DISUNITED with a 4-2 win. Lads On Toure were dealt a heavy 0-6 loss by Super Striker Squad. The final match of the division saw Brexit Tarring edge out Schindlers Assist 3-2.

We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Worthing's premier providers of small sided football!
