Monday 2nd September - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good end to the season overall in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week overall, with some well competed matches played out to complete this league campaign.


In the Premier League division, Worthing Rovers emerged victorious with a total of 26 points and an impressive record of 13 wins. Their final fixture against Worthing Wanderers was a high-scoring affair, ending with a 13-7 scoreline in favour of Rovers. However, the highlight of the night was Panda FC, who managed to overpower JCI FC with a resounding 5-0 victory.


In Division 1, Harrys Stiff reigned supreme, ending the season with 24 points from 11 wins. Cream Of The South and Link Romania served up a cracker of a game, finishing with a 3-2 scoreline favoring Cream Of The South. PUKKI 22 B. also showcased an emphatic performance, defeating Lisboa Rio 9-3.


The Division 2 title was clinched by The Seaview Sluts, who amassed a total of 25 points through their 12 wins. Their final match was an 11-3 drubbing of STELLA SOUNDERS FC. Meanwhile, Expected Toulouse secured a narrow 1-0 victory against Asda United.


Super Striker Squad stood atop the Division 3 leaderboard by the end of the season, with 26 points secured from 13 wins. Big MacAllister & Fries and COB FC delivered a gripping face-off, with COB FC edging out a 6-3 win. ReCog produced a standout performance, decimating Lads On Toure 12-2.


The new season will get underway on Monday 9th September, and all team captains will be contacted accordingly to confirm their first kick off information for the next campaign.
