Monday 3rd February - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled barring two.  Worthing Rovers will be confirmed to return next week, Paris Ain't German have been removed and replaced with new team Worthing Wolverines who we wish good luck going into their debut game on Monday 10th February.


In the Premier League division, Panda FC clinched a narrow victory against Bowen Vapors with a 3-2 scoreline. The match of the week, however, was MasDog and Duck's demolition of BayernMunchies with an 11-4 score, highlighting their dominance in the league. PUKKI 22 B. also shone brightly this week with a clean 8-0 sweep against Future FC.


Moving on to Division 1, Cream Of The South outclassed Colonel Getafe with a 6-3 victory. But the highlight of the division was Ford Focus's impressive 8-1 win over Urban Strikers. Stella Sounders FC also had a solid performance, defeating Hussars FC 5-3.


Division 2 saw a thrilling draw with Diddys Disciples FC and Lads On Toure tying at 4-4. Scofi Active emerged victorious over COB FC with a 5-2 score and Rusty Club managed a tight 3-2 win against ReCog.


In the final Division 3, Brexit Tarring edged out Asda United 3-2 in a closely contested match. Fat Steamy Wood tore apart Diddys Dynamos with an 8-1 victory. The highlight of the week though was undoubtedly Stagecoach Worthing's 18-0 thrashing by DisUnited, setting a new record for the season.
