In a heart-pounding night of football, week 8 of the Worthing Monday 6-a-side league showcased pure skill, thrilling action and a fair share of surprises. The participants from four divisions: Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 showed exceptional performances last night.
In the Premier League, spectators were on the edge of their seats as Worthing Rovers and Worthing Wanderers battled it out for dominance, ending in an electrifying 10-10 draw. The Seaview Sluts emerged victorious against Seaside United, netting 11 goals to 4, marking a notable win for the team.
Division 1, on the other hand, saw PUKKI 22 B. outclass Diddys Disciples FC, winning 4-2, while Cream Of The South clinched a 4-2 victory over Link Romania. Both LA DAIRY MILK and HUSSARS FC managed to hold their own, ending their matches against VAPORS and STELLA SOUNDERS FC with a draw respectively.
As for Division 2, the highlight was Haven't Got A Kalou taking a massive victory against Diddys Dynamos with an impressive score of 15-2. Expected Toulouse also managed to secure a 7-4 win over Paris Ain't German in a closely contested match.
In Division 3, Lads On Toure scraped by with a narrow 1-0 win against Pappas Playas. While DISUNITED managed to edge out Schindlers Assist by a score of 4-3. COB FC demonstrated their prowess with a 7-3 triumph over Big MacAllister & Fries.
