It was an excellent evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week with all 24 teams in attendance throughout the night and some entertaining football played across all three divisions.
It was another win for High Salvington Gentlemen this week as they now need just a single point to confirm the title with games to spare. They were 4-0 winners over The Tutt Experience who drop to fourth place as four teams fight it out for the Runners-Up spot. Fatzio and Lahmageddon moved up to second and third place respectively following both of their 2-1 wins.
Weymouth Wanderers close in on the Division One title, a ninth win in ten games this week as they ran out 2-1 victors over second placed Real Le Sheet sees them move three points clear of this weeks opponents. That result opens the door for Bobby Carlos Experience who move level on points with second place following a 3-2 victory against Bag Raiders in an entertaining encounter.
Unnamed FC suffered their first defeat of the campaign on week 10, a somewhat surprise 3-2 defeat against Inter Ya Nan which opens up the title race in Division Two with four games to go. Enter a Team Name Here moved to within a point of the summit with a 4-1 win over Dragons, whilst just a point behind them are The Defeatables who were 1-0 winners against Sompting Dragons.
We wish all teams the best of luck going into week 11's fixtures with Worthing's premier provider of small sided football.
