Sunday 11th September - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, barring a late cancellation on the day from Breast Rummage Albion who are due to return on Sunday 18th September.

Mas Dog Academy got off to a fine start for the new season in the Premier Division as they look to better last season's fourth placed finish.  They were big 7-1 winners over Lahmageddon this weekend in a very impressive start.  Last season's top two also got off to winning starts, champions Fatzio were 5-2 winners against The Rebels, whilst High Salvington Gentlemen put 5 past She Was Only XI without reply.  Another team in last season's title shake up was Real Le Sheet, and they were 4-1 winners over Inter Ya Nan.

In Division One, newly promoted teams Sompting Dragons and Hakuna Juan Mata both avoided defeat in their opening games in the middle league.  Sompting shared a point a piece with The Defeatables in a 1-1 draw, whilst Hakuna Juan Mata held Unnamed FC to a 2-2 draw.  Petr Cech Yourself looked in impressive form as they were 5-1 winners over recently relegated The Tutt Experience, whilst TTM FC will be looking to finish higher than fifth this season, they were 3-1 victors over Ji Sung Park The Bus.

In Division Two, recently relegated Chicken Tikka Mo Salah had a tough start against new boys Bobby Carlos Experience who romped to an 8-2 victory.  Elsewhere Milf Hunters were 2-1 winners against over Maradona Kebab in a well competed game.
