Sunday 13th April - Worthing Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance barring a cancellation from Secure The Coin FC who return as normal for the next round of fixtures.

PLEASE NOTE THIS LEAGUE IS CANCELLED FOR ONE WEEK ON EASTER SUNDAY 20TH APRIL - We return as normal as per fixtures online from Sunday 27th  April.

In an enthralling night of football, Worthing Sunday 6 side Football League progressed into its 12th week. The excitement was palpable as teams across three divisions - Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 - battled it out to secure their standings with just two weeks left in the season.

In the tightly contested Premier League, Dynamo Chicken Kiev displayed a stellar performance, trouncing Otters FC with a massive 7-1 victory. SDL FC mirrored Dynamo's dominance by securing an 8-1 win over Benjamin Tesko, while Sompting Dragons edged past Chubby Alonsos in a thrilling 5-3 encounter. Foreigners FC also had a successful night, overcoming Hakuna Juan Mata with a 6-3 scoreline.

Division 1 saw its share of nail-biting contests as well. 30 Second Finishers narrowly lost to Mary Slurps 4-6 in a goal-rich match. The Tutt Experience and Hgc Army ended in a deadlock at 4-4, as did Unnamed Kebab FC and Goon Squad, and BNT RETURN and CLASSIC XI, both with 2-2 draws.

Over in Division 2, An Average Bunch defeated Blue Ballers 3-1, The Cheeky Blinders emerged victorious against NOARC with a 5-2 win, and Coman Her Face and PURPLE WANDERERS held each other to a 3-3 tie.

With only two weeks left of the season, the action is set to intensify as teams look to secure their place for the next season.
