Sunday 16th February - Worthing Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some excellent games played across the three divisions!

The Premier League witnessed a nail-biter as Dynamo Chicken Kiev and Hakuna Juan Mata battled it out on the pitch. Dynamo Chicken Kiev emerged victorious, narrowly edging their opponents 8-7 in a hard-fought match. Elsewhere, Foreigners FC claimed a well-earned 7-4 victory over Harrys Stiff, and Sompting Dragons secured a commanding 4-0 win over Benjamin Tesko. SDL FC also had reasons to celebrate, overcoming Otters Fc 6-3.

In Division 1, Classic XI put on an impressive display, defeating 30 Second Finishers 6-1. Aksaray68 and Goon Squad shared the spoils in a 3-3 draw, while Unnamed Kebab FC flexed their scoring muscles with a 6-0 win over Hgc Army. Mary Slurps also triumphed over The Tutt Experience, finishing the match at 5-1.

An Average Bunch stood out in Division 2, besting Purple Wanderers 6-2. Coman Her Face notched an 8-3 win over NOARC, and The Cheeky Blinders narrowly escaped with a 2-1 victory against Only Fools And Scorers. Schindlers Assist sealed the week with a 3-1 win over Secure the Coin FC.
