It was another excellent evening of 6 a side football in Worthing on Sunday overall, with the only disappointment being a non-attendance from Durrington FC in their game against All Blacks, they will of course be spoken to accordingly and confirmed to return on Sunday 24th February.
The 5-0 victory for All Blacks certainly did them a favour as they sit pretty at the top of the Premier Division and are now champions as they are 5 points clear (with just two to play) of second placed Untouchables who also won this week, 4-2 against Pique Boo. AFC Romania were also winners over Slightly Athletic, they won 4-1 as they aim to nick second place.
Taking The Mkhitarayan also had the chance to seal the title this week, but they were humbled 3-0 by second place Gaylacticos. However, it may be too little too late for them to take top spot as one more win would seal it for Mkhitarayan. Bag Raiders sit in third after a 2-0 win over Row Z Rovers this week, it could go down to the last game to decide who seals the second promotion place.
Good luck to all teams going into next weeks matches with Worthing's premier provider of small sided football.
