It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their fixtures throughout the night and some excellent matches played across all three divisions.
Despite wrapping up the title already, High Salvington show no signs of relenting in their performances, as they disposed of Lahmageddon who were in third place before kick off, 8-2 the final score. The Tutt Experience leapfrogged this weeks opponents Fatzio into second place, as they recorded an impressive 4-2 victory. Elsewhere Classic XI kept a two point gap between themselves and the relegation places this week with a 6-0 win over bottom of the table Breast Rummage Albion.
Weymouth Wanderers continue to close in on the Division One title as they were 6-1 victors over Posh and Becks Vier this week, this result coupled with draws for second and third placed Real Le Sheet and Bobby Carlos, sees them move a further point clear at the summit. Bottom of the table Bag Raiders recorded just their second win of the campaign as they beat third bottom Only Matip 3-2, is it too late for them to stay up?
Unnamed FC dropped from the top of Division 2 this week as they were beaten 3-1 against Enter a Team Name who themselves moved to the summit in a division where all is to play for. The Defeatables missed the chance to go level on points with second place as they played out a thrilling 4-4 draw with So Sompting Crew, in a division where all is to play for in the final three games of the season.
We wish all teams good luck going into week 12's fixtures with Worthing's premier provider of small sided football!
