Sunday 17th September - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams attending barring thre.  We have removed Badabing Boys from the league as this was their second consecutive non-attendance.  On the positive, Hairline FC and Bobby Carlos Experience are due back as normal on Sunday 24th September.

In the Premier League, the Sompting Dragons edged past Meridian FC in a nail-biting encounter ending 3-2. The Dragons showed their prowess and determination, digging deep to secure victory. Mc Bigwangs FC also dominated the field against LA Underdogs, with a scoreline of 5-1, showcasing their superior form this season. The night ended with an impressive 3-0 victory for Jong HSG over TTM FC, giving Jong HSG a significant boost in the league standings.

Division 1 witnessed a thrilling tie, with Hakuna Juan Mata and Mambo No5 Turned 6 ending their match in a 6-6 draw. SHE WAS ONLY XI trounced Foreigners FC 4-0, while Farcelona Fc dominated SDL FC in a one-sided match that ended 8-2.

Over in Division 2, Maradona Kebab defeated Chicken Tikka Mo Salah by 4-1 showcasing their skill and tactical acumen. Only Fools And Scorers overcame Bosses Not Tosses in a closely contested match that ended 3-2. The Tutt Experience prevailed over Coman Her Face with a score of 3-1, rounding off a thrilling week of football.

As we approach Week 8 of the Worthing Sunday Football League, it's clear that the competition is heating up, and football fans can expect more high-octane action in the weeks to come.
