Match Report: Leisure Leagues Worthing Sunday 6-a-side League, Game Week 8


Premier Division:


In an action-packed evening at Worthing Leisure Centre, the Premier Division showcased some thrilling encounters that left spectators on the edge of their seats. The first match of the night saw Realleesheet taking on She Was Only XI. Both teams displayed exceptional skill and determination, but it was She Was Only XI who emerged victorious with a narrow 3-2 victory. The win propelled them three points clear of the drop zone, boosting their confidence for the remainder of the season.


Next up, Farcelona FC faced off against The Bobby Carlos Experience. The latter proved to be a force to be reckoned with, delivering a masterclass performance. The Bobby Carlos Experience dominated the game, showcasing their flair and finesse, as they secured an emphatic 9-1 triumph. Their display left the crowd in awe and marked them as serious contenders in the Premier Division.


Fatzio, determined to improve their goal difference, went all out against TTM FC. With ruthless efficiency in front of the net, Fatzio showcased their attacking prowess, scoring an impressive 10 goals. TTM FC struggled to keep up with their relentless assault and managed to net only one goal in response. Fatzio's convincing 10-1 victory positions them favorably as the season progresses.


In a highly anticipated match, the new boys, MC Bigwangs FC, faced The Rebels. MC Bigwangs FC showed no signs of being overwhelmed by their debut season, as they displayed exceptional teamwork and skill. With a 3-1 triumph over The Rebels, MC Bigwangs FC further cemented their status as genuine title contenders, sitting level on points with current leaders Fatzio.


Division One:


Division One did not disappoint as teams fought tooth and nail to secure crucial points. Jong HSG faced off against Sompting Dragons in a clash of the top contenders. The match lived up to its billing, with both teams leaving everything on the pitch. Jong HSG emerged victorious with a hard-fought 3-2 win, closing the gap to just one point behind league leaders Sompting Dragons.


Khedira Pin Drop returned to action after missing the previous week and were up against Mambo No5 Turned 6. Mambo No5 Turned 6 showed their class as they smoothly reentered the competition, securing an impressive 6-3 victory. Their performance demonstrated their ability to groove their way up the league standings.


Lancing Ultras faced The Tutt Experience in a thrilling encounter. Lancing Ultras thrilled their fans with a dynamic and attacking display, netting six goals. Despite a valiant effort from The Tutt Experience, Lancing Ultras secured a well-deserved 6-3 victory, leaving their opponents in their wake.


In a closely contested match, Foreigners FC battled against Unnamed FC. The game showcased strong defensive performances from both teams, with goals at a premium. In the end, Unnamed FC emerged victorious with a 2-0 win, displaying their resilience and composure.


Division Two:


The excitement continued in Division Two as teams fought for supremacy and aimed to climb the league ladder. Hairline FC faced a daunting challenge against Hakuna Juan Mata. Unfortunately for Hairline FC, their opponents proved to be too strong, leaving them tearing their hair out with a resounding 13-0 victory.


The Badabing Boys, the team to beat in Division Two, demonstrated their dominance once again. With their sixth win in eight matches, they showcased their skill and teamwork against Only Fools and Scorers. The Badabing Boys secured a convincing 5-1 victory, further solidifying their position at the top of the division.


Chicken Tikka Mo Salah proved unstoppable as they faced The Cheeky Blinders. Their attacking prowess was on full display, overwhelming their opponents with an 8-0 scoreline. The Cheeky Blinders struggled to contain Chicken Tikka Mo Salah's relentless pressure, resulting in a comprehensive victory for the former.


In a tightly contested match, Coman Her Face took on Maradona Kebab. Both teams showcased their defensive prowess, making goals hard to come by. However, Coman Her Face managed to find the back of the net twice, securing a hard-fought 2-0 victory and leaving Maradona Kebab with a bitter taste.
