Sunday 19th November - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being Meridian FC for the second week running, they have now been removed from the league.  Pique Boo have also withdrawn from the league after completing their two week withdrawal notice.

On a positive note, we welcome new team Just Matip into the league and wish these good luck going into their first fixture on Sunday 26th November.

In the Premier League, Jong HSG narrowly edged out Mc Bigwangs Fc with a score of 3-2. The match kept spectators on edge till the last minute with Jong HSG taking home the victory. Meanwhile, Sompting Dragons suffered a 3-1 reverse at the hands of SHE WAS ONLY XI in a tough matchup for the former.

The Division 1 games were equally compelling, with Dynamo Chicken Kiev squeezing past Foreigners FC with a 3-2 win. The most intense match of the evening was Farcelona Fc versus Hakuna Juan Mata, ending with an impressive 7-5 victory in favour of Farcelona Fc. LongRichNPeng put in a stellar performance against Mary Slurps, as they crused to a 4-0- win. Pique Boo were unable to resist Only Fools And Scorers' assault, with the latter winning 3-1.

Finally, in Division 2, Bosses Not Tosses managed a 5-4 win against So No Pelo FC, while Coman Her Face and The Cheeky Blinders played out an entertaining 3-3 draw, with Unnamed Kebab FC and The Tutt Experience finishing their game with the same scoreline.

As we move into week 3, the competition will only get fiercer, and we can expect teams to give their best to climb up their respective divisions. Stay tuned for more exciting football action.
