It was another good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance as usual for the second week of fixtures of the new season.
Champions High Salvington Gentlemen made it 2 wins in a row this week, the only team in the Premier Division to have won their opening two matches, they were 4-2 winners over Real Le Sheet. Fatzio followed up last weeks draw with a convincing 5-0 win over OLOTR, whilst The Tutt Experience got their season up and running with a 3-0 victory against Lahmageddon. Classic XI and Weymouth Wanderers shared the spoils in their meet up this week as they drew 2 a piece, the second consecutive draw for Weymouth this season.
Breast Rummage Albion are adapting to life in Division One well since their relegation, they won their second match in a row this week, coming out on top in an entertaining 8-4 victory against Enter A Team Name Here. Suarez Is My Hamster also recorded their second win of the campaign, a thrilling 9-6 win over The Rebels in a game where neither team were focussed on defence! Unnamed FC followed up their draw last week with a 5-2 win over Class on Grass, as did The Bobby Carlos Experience who were 4-1 victors over Only Matip In.
The Defeatables were the big winners in Division Two, as they thrashed Dragons by a 10-2 scoreline to sit on three points from two games. The two Sompting teams make up the top two as So Sompting Crew sit at the top following their 3-2 victory over Bag Raiders, whilst Sompting Dragons sit second after they ran out 4-3 winners over Inter Ya Nan. Posh and Becks Vier picked up their first point of the campaign as they and Unfitballers could not be separated in a tight game that ended 1-1.
