Sunday 24th November - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night, the only exception being Zindabad FC who've now been removed from the league.

In the Premier League, Foreigners FC displayed an outstanding performance, defeating Sompting Dragons 5-2, lifting them to the top of the table for the week. SDL FC also enjoyed a high scoring game, surpassing Inter Maggie FC with a 6-3 victory. A special mention goes to Harry’s Stiff who managed to thrash Hakuna Juan Mata 6-1, speaking volumes about their potent attacking prowess.

Moving to Division 1, Unnamed Kebab FC bagged a convincing 4-0 win against The Tutt Experience. However, the highlight of this division was the thrilling encounter between Victorious Secret and RealLeeSheet, where the latter emerged victorious in a goal fest, 8-5. In another high-intensity match, Only Fools And Scorers were edged out by LRP with a scoreline of 8-6.

In Division 2, Mary Slurps managed to beat CLASSIC XI in a hard-fought match, winning 5-3. Secure The Coin FC also registered a well-deserved 3-1 win against The Cheeky Blinders. However, the match between An Average Bunch and Coman Her Face ended in a 3-3 draw, keeping the division wide open.
