Sunday 26th January - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled barring two.  Unfortunately we've removed both 'LRP' and 'Le Saux Solid Crew' from the league immediately following their failures to arrive.

In the Premier League, fans of Sompting Dragons and Dynamo Chicken Kiev were treated to a nail-biting standoff that ended in a 2-2 draw. Whereas, the Foreigners FC showcased an impressive performance against SDL FC with a decisive 5-2 victory. However, the most heated match of the division was undoubtedly between Otters FC and Hakuna Juan Mata, with a fierce battle resulting in a tight 6-5 victory in favor of the Otters FC.

Moving to Division 1, Unnamed Kebab FC began their season with a bang, as they demolished the 30 Second Finishers in a 6-0 victory. Matches between The Tutt Experience and Aksaray68, as well as Mary Slurps and CLASSIC XI, ended with 4-3 and 6-5 scores respectively, showing the fierce competition in this division. The Goon Squad snatched a narrow victory against Hgc Army, with a final score of 6-5.

Division 2 witnessed the An Average Bunch dominating The Cheeky Blinders in a 5-0 victory, while Coman Her Face secured a thrilling 7-4 win against Secure The Coin FC. Furthermore, NOARC claimed a 4-1 victory over Only Fools And Scorers.

With the season just getting started, football enthusiasts are eager to see how the competition unfolds in the coming weeks.
