Sunday 29th September - Worthing Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night, the only exception being Dynamo Chicken Kiev who will be spoken to accordingly and confirmed to return on Sunday 6th October.

In Premier League action, the Sompting Dragons showed their fiery might against SDL FC with a decisive 7-3 victory. Their offensive prowess was on full display, leaving spectators and their opponents in awe. However, the biggest surprise of the evening was the upset victory of Foreigners FC over Jong HSG with a scoreline of 6-3. Both teams showcased high-quality football, but it was Foreigners FC who ultimately stole the show.

Moving on to Division 1, the matches were nothing short of nail-biting. Victorious Secret edged out Otters FC 2-1 in a tightly contested battle. Only Fools And Scorers eked out a narrow 2-1 win over An Average Bunch, while Zindabad FC outclassed The Tutt Experience with a 4-1 scoreline. The star-studded Hakuna Juan Mata left no stone unturned in their pursuit of a commanding 8-1 win over Secure The Coin FC.

Division 2 was not short of high-octane action either. Coman Her Face shut out The Cheeky Blinders with a clean 4-0 sweep. In what was the game of the night, Chicken Tikka Takka and CLASSIC XI battled to a 5-5 draw, providing a treat for the neutrals. Mary Slurps triumphed over Unnamed Kebab FC 5-4 in a pulsating contest, while RealLeeSheet upset the odds against Bosses Not Tosses with a 7-4 victory.
