Sunday 2nd February - Worthing Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their scheduled matches across all three divisions and some superbly competed games played.

In the Premier League, Harrys Stiff showed their supremacy with a 4-1 victory against Dynamo Chicken Kiev, maintaining a strong hold throughout the game. Foreigners FC also pulled out a tight 1-0 victory over Otters FC, illustrating the competitive nature of the league. Meanwhile, Hakuna Juan Mata dominated their game against Benjamin Tesko, securing a 6-2 win and Sompting Dragons triumphed over SDL FC with a 5-3 victory.

In Division 1, Goon Squad outclassed 30 Second Finishers in a riveting match, ending with a 5-1 scoreline. The highest score of the night came from CLASSIC XI who knocked 12 goals against Hgc Army's 5. Aksaray68 and Unnamed Kebab FC also recorded victories against their respective opponents.

Shifting focus to Division 2, An Average Bunch and Coman Her Face registered wins over NOARC and Schindlers Assist, respectively. In a nail-biting encounter, The Cheeky Blinders edged past Secure The Coin FC with a 4-3 win, and Only Fools And Scorers clinched a 1-0 win against Purple Wanderers.

While every team put forth a commendable effort, a few players stood out with their exceptional performances. The top scorers for each division were: Premier League's Hakuna Juan Mata, Division 1's CLASSIC XI, and Division 2's Coman Her Face.
