Sunday 4th February - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance for their scheduled matches across the three divisions.

After fulfilling their withdrawal notice, Feel My Tackle have withdrawn from the league due to a shortage of players.   This creates ONE RARE VACANCY in the league for anyone interested in getting started!

In the Premier League, debutant team Zindabad Fc and Jong HSG had a heated encounter, with each team securing 3 goals in a thrilling draw, a great result for the league debutants against the leaders. LA Underdogs showcased their prowess by defeating Sompting Dragons 4-2. However, the most notable performance came from SHE WAS ONLY XI, who trounced Mc Bigwangs Fc 6-0, making their supremacy clear in this matchup. The highest scoring game was seen by 6 Offenders who beat Feel My Tackle 18-2.

The action continued in Division 1 with a nail-biting match between LongRichNPeng and Dynamo Chicken Kiev, with the latter emerging victorious 2-1. Durrington CF dominated the field with a 7-1 win over Findon FC. Foreigners FC and Only Fools And Scorers saw a tightly contested match ending in a 2-2 draw. Hakuna Juan Mata and Mary Slurps also finished in a deadlock with 3 goals each.

Finally, in Division 2, Coman Her Face and Bosses Not Tosses resulted in a 2-2 draw. Just Matip took the win over Unnamed Kebab FC with a score of 3-1. The Tutt Experience surged past Victorious Secret with a 4-1 victory. SDL FC secured a narrow 5-4 win over The Cheeky Blinders, marking a spirited end to the week's games.
