It was another good evening's football in the Worthing Monday 6 a side league this week, with all 24 teams in attendance for their matches across all three divisions once again!
Lahmageddon lead a trio of teams on maximum points from their opening two games in the Premier Division, they were 5-3 winners over The Rebels in an entertaining encounter, whilst Fatzio picked up an impressive 5-2 win over Real Le Sheet, and champions High Salvington Gentlemen were 3-1 winners against The Tutt Experience. Completing the action in the division was the 4-3 win for Weymouth Wanderers over Unnamed FC in a closely competed game!
TTM FC got a second win on the bounce since coming into the league, they also got a second clean sheet too as they were comfortable 4-0 winners against The Defeatables, whilst She Was Only XI won by the same score line to sit in second place at this early stage. Elsewhere Snorting Lisbon got their first points of the season, and did so in style with a 6-1 thrashing of Maradona Kebab, whilst Only Matip In got their second consecutive 1-1 draw to start of the season, drawing with Mas Dog Academy.
Posh and Becks Vier had another big win this week, romping to a 5-2 win over Petr Cech Yourself, with Sompting Dragons also having their shooting boots on, they were 7-2 winners against So Sompting Crew. Hakuna Juan Mata (formerly Dragons) were big winners as they sported their new name, they overcame Rusty's by a 9-2 score line.
