In a weekend filled with goals, drama and excitement, the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league's second game week saw teams battling it out at Worthing Leisure Centre.
In the Premier Division, MC BIGWANGS FC got their campaign off to a winning start with a 3-1 victory over THE BOBBY CARLOS EXPERIENCE. The Bigwangs proved too strong for their opponents, with their clinical finishing earning them all three points. Meanwhile, TTM FC suffered a 4-2 defeat at the hands of THE REBELS, who put on a dominant display to secure the win. In the final game of the division, PHD and SHE WAS ONLY XI played out an entertaining 2-2 draw.
Over in Division One, JONG HSG and MAMBO NO5 TURNED 6 played out a six-goal thriller, with both sides settling for a point after a 3-3 draw. UNNAMED FC and THE TUTT EXPERIENCE played out a goalless draw in a tight affair, while FOREIGNERS FC lost 2-1 to KHEDIRA PIN DROP.
In Division Two, COMAN HER FACE secured a narrow 3-2 victory over HAKUNA JUAN MATA, with the former putting in a strong performance to claim all three points. Meanwhile, CHICKEN TIKKA MO SALAH overcame MARADONA KEBAB 2-1 in a closely contested match. BADABING BOYS edged out HAIRLINE FC 2-1 in a tightly fought encounter, while THE DEFEATABLES put in a commanding display to secure a 3-0 victory over THE CHEEKY BLINDERS.
