Sunday 9th March - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all three divisions, the only exception being Harry's Stiff who cancelled and have been removed from the league.

On a positive note, we welcome new team Benefit Boys 2 to the league, and wish these good luck going into their first fixture on Sunday 16th March.

In the Premier League division, Dynamo Chicken Kiev stunned the crowd as they scored a dominant 7-0 victory over Benjamin Tesko. Hakuna Juan Mata, however, failed to replicate that kind of dominance, falling to SDL FC with a score of 3-6 in a tightly contested match. The game between Foreigners FC and Sompting Dragons ended with a score of 1-3, marking another victory for the Dragons.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Hgc Army clinched a thrilling victory over 30 Second Finishers, with an intense 8-6 finish. Goon Squad and Mary Slurps settled for a draw, each team netting four goals apiece. CLASSIC XI showed their prowess, defeating The Tutt Experience with a 6-3 margin. The day ended with BNT RETURN triumphing over Unnamed Kebab FC in an exciting 6-5 encounter.

In Division 2, Only Fools And Scorers fell to An Average Bunch, who secured a 4-0 victory. NOARC and Schindlers Assist played a tight match, with NOARC emerging victorious with a 5-3 scoreline. There was no winner between PURPLE WANDERERS and Secure The Coin FC, as the teams settled for a 3-3 draw. Coman Her Face, however, dominated The Cheeky Blinders, winning the match with a 6-0 margin.
