In a thrilling third week of action at the Kidderminster Monday 6-a-side Football League, the Premier League saw some pulsating encounters that kept fans on the edge of their seats.
2 Joes 1 Cup edged The Siberian Huskys in a nail-biting contest that ended 3-2 in favour of the former. The Huskys fought valiantly but fell just short of snatching a draw, however mention to the Huskey's Keeper Ian, who scored from his own half (the first keeper to do so in the new rules!)
Motherwell Yes Thanks Bud also scraped through with a narrow 4-3 victory over Teabags FC, in a match that kept the crowd guessing until the final whistle with two late goals to seal the points for the regining champions
Mean Machine, on the other hand, comfortably overwhelmed BallBag FC with a 5-2 scoreline.
However, the stand-out performance of the week came from Chicken Tika-Taka who ran riot against Game Of Throwins, notching up an impressive eight goals to their opponent's three. This victory was largely thanks to Joe Neal, who was awarded the most valued player for the week. His outstanding performance was central to Chicken Tika-Taka's triumph.
Finally, DahmersinPyjamas outclassed Dingle Berries FC in a 6-3 victory. Despite the Berries' best efforts, they were unable to contain the Pyjamas' potent attack.
As we approach week four of the Kidderminster Monday 6-a-side Football League, all eyes are on the Premier League teams. With the stakes getting higher each week, players like Giuseppe Maffei and Joe Neal continue to shine, setting the bar high for their opponents.
