The much-anticipated Kidderminster Monday 6-side Football league kicked off its new season last night with a spectacular range of matches. The league, renowned for its fierce competition and high-energy performances, did not disappoint as the first games of the Premier League division unfolded, providing a tantalizing glimpse of the action that awaits us.
The Siberian Huskys took on Chicken Tika-Taka in a thrilling encounter. Despite a valiant effort, The Siberian Huskys were bested by Chicken Tika-Taka, who emerged victorious with a score of 6-2. This victory was in part thanks to the stellar performance of Louis, who was the games Most Valuable Player.
Hardly Athletic's narrow victory against The Gunners in a tightly contested match that ended 3-2, highlighted the level of competition that the league promises this season. Oscar was the MVP for Hardly, who are a dark horse tip for the title.
Meanwhile, Old Men FC demonstrated their dominance in a high-scoring game against Joes2Glory, with an overwhelming 13-4 victory and put the rest of the league on notice. Collins was the MVP for Old Men with a 5 star display.
Rounding out the night, Kiddy Top Boys and Kiddy Rebels faced off in a fierce battle. Kiddy Top Boys managed to claim a 3-1 victory over Kiddy Rebels, signaling a strong start to their season as they look to challenge for the title. Williams once again was MVP for the Top Boys
