Last night marked the 16th week of the thrilling Kidderminster Monday 6-a-side Football league. As the season nears its close, with only two weeks left, the competition is intensifying and stakes are higher than ever in the Premier League division.

A captivating head-to-head saw Joes2Glory narrowly defeat Kiddy Rebels with a tight 2-1 scoreline. Despite the fierce battle, Joes2Glory managed to secure a vital victory, demonstrating their tenacity and strategic gameplay.

In an equally compelling showdown, Kiddy Top Boys and Haydens Disciples ended their clash in a 2-2 deadlock. Both teams showcased great resilience and skill, leaving spectators on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.

The draw however does seal the league title for Disciples, a brilliant first full season for them as they will lift the trophy at the end of the season

However, the most talk-of-the-town match of the league was between The Siberian Huskys and Hardly Athletic, witnessing an outstanding performance by Hardly Athletic who decimated their rivals with a 7-1 scoreline. The star of the week, without a doubt, was Ewan from Hardly Athletic, who netted an impressive haul of 3 goals, sealing his position as the top scorer of the Premier League division. His outstanding performance also earned him the title of the most valued player of the week.
