The inaugural week of the Kidderminster Monday 6-a-side Football league was a pulsating spectacle, with teams in the Premier League division battling it out in closely fought matches.
In the Premier League division, The Siberian Huskys were held to a 2-2 draw by 2 Joes 1 Cup in what was a fiercely contested match. The Huskeys were 2-0 up, with Joes pulling back (of which you can see next week on 2 Joe's youtube channel - 2 Joes 2 Glory)

The Gunners started their campaign on a positive note, narrowly edging out BaloTellitubbies 2-1, in a game that saw some spectacular football from both sides.

However, the biggest win of the night belonged to Haydens Disciples, who stormed to an 8-2 victory over Kiddy Rebels. This impressive performance marked them as a team to watch this season and perhaps moves to the bookies favourites...

Mean Machine emerged victorious against Chicken Tika-Taka with a solid 3-0 win, demonstrating their defensive prowess and goal scoring efficiency, while Dingle Berries FC triumphed over Kiddy Top Boys in a high scoring match, ending 4-2. Ashton and Evans were the MVPS for Mean Machine and Dingles respectively
As the season has just commenced, it's too early to predict who will emerge as the top scorers for each division. However, the opening matches have certainly set high expectations for the season ahead.
