End of Season (Week 10 Match Report)
In a thrilling culmination to the season, the Kidderminster Tuesday 5-a-side Football League saw its final matches last night, with teams from the Premier League and Division 1 divisions giving their best performance till the final whistle.
In the Premier League division, the Barely Athletic and Game Of Throwins match was a high-scoring affair, ending with a 12-8 victory for Barely Athletic.
Most Valuable Player- Jacob (Barely Athletic)
Similarly, McginnAndTonic triumphed over Beercelona Fc in a 12-7 conclusion. The star player Marli from McginnAndTonic led the scoreboard with a season total of 5 goals, positioning himself as the top scorer in the division. Ref however said it was Harley’s best performance of the season and he just pipped Marli for MVP
After a fiercely competitive season, The Bridge Inn emerged victorious in the Premier League, bagging 19 points from 9 wins.
Division 1 saw its share of adrenaline-pumping action too. Fill Me Wycombe secured a decisive 6-2 win against LickHill Billies.
Misfits and Knobbers FC battled it out, with Misfits outscoring their opponents 13-9. Top scorer in the division was the formidable Brandon from Misfits, who netted a total of 7 goals this season to secure the golden boot, with the MVP going to Brandon
The most valued player of the week, however, was Ben Cook from Fill Me Wycombe. Ben's exceptional performance on the field has made him a standout player this week.
Un Athletic and Gerbil United Fc also clashed in a nail-biting encounter, which ended in a 7-7 draw. Aidan was the difference maker, also securing him the MVP award
Fill Me Wycombe earned the title of Division 1 champions, clinching a total of 18 points from 9 wins.
With the conclusion of this season, the teams will now regroup and strategize for the next. As we celebrate the winners today, the anticipation for the next season begins to build. Congratulations to all winners, and here's to another great season next week!
