The second week of the riveting Kidderminster Tuesday 5-a-side Football League came to a close last night with close nail-biting matches in the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.
In the Premier League, the competition was fierce. Barely Athletic fell to Game Of Throwins with a score of 5-7
Most Valuable Player- Bazz Downes (Game of Throwins)
Lion Inn fell 3-7 to FC Stourporto, whilst The Bridge Inn and McginnAndTonic delivered an action-packed performance, with McginnAndTonic securing a narrow win at 10-7. McginnAndTonic's Marli shone in the game, securing the top scorer's spot in the division with an impressive 5 goals. Marli took home the MVP for McGinn and Cooper secured it for FC Stourporto
Division 1 saw equally thrilling competitions. BaloTelli Tubbies held Fill Me Wycombe to a 7-7 draw, a game that saw Carson Campbell of BaloTelli Tubbies claiming the title of the top scorer in the division with a commendable 4 goals.
Most Valuable Player- Will Harwood (Fill Me Wycombe)
LickHill Billies outshone Beercelona Fc, securing a 7-4 victory to keep last seasons runners up in the top 3
Most Valuable Player- Dan (Lickhill Billies)
Division 2 witnessed high-energy matches as well. Epsteins Dream Team went head-to-head with Knobbers FC, with the latter emerging victorious with a score of 10-8.
Most Valuable Player- Wayne (Knobbers Fc)
Gerbil United Fc managed to outscore Out On Bale 6-4, but the highlight of the division was the match between The Cesc Pistols and Law Abiding Sigurddsons, which ended in a 10-6 victory. Jamie was MVP for Law Abiding
The week's most valued player was Aston from Gerbil Utd FC, who delivered an outstanding performance throughout the matches. His skills and sportsmanship did not go unnoticed, as he proved to be an invaluable asset to his team.
