The wonderful Leisure Leagues autumn expansion continued last night as Malvern became the latest place that we were able to welcome to the network.
The brand new 6 a side league, at the state of the art pitches at Dyson Perrins Academy provided the incredible backdrop for the games – which are already becoming central to the community.
Expected Toulouse (pictured) were perhaps the most impressive winners of the day. Matt Fairlamb scoring a double on the opening night, as they beat Bayern Munchies by the odd goal in five. If he continues his form he is sure to be in with a shout of winning the Golden Boot award at the end of the season.
Elsewhere there was a goalless draw as Shitzerland couldn’t be separated from Only Put Matip In, the game remained tight from the off and that’s the way it stayed.
Shitzerland will be given a tough test as they take on Toulouse next week, while Lob On FC will be hoping to get a first win under their belt too and will have their work cut out against the free scoring Toulouse side.
There is still chance to join the Malvern league and take advantage of the free entry offer. To do that and take part in a league that will revolutionise football in the Worcestershire town, click here:
