The fastest growing and best 6 a side league in Crewe has already it’s begun its latest season, but the victorious teams from last season have taken delivery of their trophies.
Adelaide FC managed the incredible feat of going through the season unbeaten and claimed the winner’s prize, with Safe United six points behind in runners up.
The league in Crewe has become a welcome staple of Cheshire life in the last 12 months, since the kick off after lockdown, with Sunny Mahal, the Area Manager, saying: “We are delighted to be finally bringing the league to Crewe that the town has craved for so long.
“Other leagues operate in the town, but in terms of discipline, organisation and everything else, they don’t compete with us.”
Sunny paid tribute to the staff at the league – which expanded for the new season – adding: “It is absolutely vital to have a good referee and league staff, and we’ve got that in Crewe.”
Adelaide have begun the season in the same form they ended the last one, winning three games so far and smashing in 25 goals in the process, but Safe have fared less well, with just won win from the trio of matches.
