Just imagine it.
There you are, playing on your local 3G pitch, and the team after you is warming up ready for their game.
The same thing happens all across the country every night of the week.
Except the team warming up doesn’t usually include Ronaldhino, Robert Pires, Nicolas Anelka, Ryan Giggs and David James do they?
Well, they did at the weekend when 20,000 excited fans – believed to be the biggest crowd to ever watch a small sided football game anywhere in the world – turned out to watch the Leisure Leagues exhibition side play.
The match was refereed by one of our top officials, Nathan East (pictured here with the 97 time capped Brazil legend) and saw Ronaldhino’s side win 2-1
The match was part Leisure Leagues commitment to bring the people of the world together through football, and a spectacular laser show launch the first of two games in Pakistan – the second one in Lahore, which the Brazilian maestro’s side again won, this time by a 2-0 scoreline< The players - who also numbered Luis Boa Morte and George Boateng - were mobbed by thousands wherever they went in the country, but found time to pose for selfies and sign autographs with just about every star-struck fan.
