Leisure Leagues’ first ever 6 a side league in Buxton kicked off in real style this week, as hundreds of players took part in the grading games to decide who will compete in the top league.
Judging by the first night of results the competition in the picturesque Derbyshire town could be one of the tightest in the land. Leisure Leagues staff watched on – and will have a really tough job of picking the teams who will form the top division and those who will make up the second tier.
Simply Lovely FC (pictured) and Stroke Clitty both led the way with 301 wins over Borussia MunchenGetSwanBack and Lock Stock and 2 Smokin Carrolls respectively, while there were wins elsewhere for The Passion Of The Cryuff and Buxton City.
