We are pleased to announce the Northern Gateway Sports Park construction project is now finally complete! The 29-million-pound Northern Gateway Sports Park is the biggest sporting development to land in Colchester! Leisure Leagues, the UK’s largest provider of 5 & 6 a side football leagues are delighted to partner with Leisure World Colchester.
This brand new, state of the art 4G football pitch will be home to community 6 a side football leagues running on the following evenings:
Wednesday 7pm to 10pm (all ages)
Wednesday 7pm to 9pm (Veterans league)
Thursday 7pm to 10pm (all ages)
Our 1st league will start on Wed 26 April 21! This is of course dependent on the easing of Covid-19 restrictions.

Stunning new state-of-the-art clubhouse overlooks the 4G and grass pitches which will become the new home of Leisure Leagues 6 A side football leagues & Colchester Rugby Football Club, whilst an archery range and clubhouse has been constructed to the south of the site which will become home to the Colchester and District Archery Club.
Leisure Leagues have already recruited over twenty 6-a-side football teams to the Northern Gateway leagues! But you will be pleased to know that we still have space for more teams…..however, these spaces are now limited, so sign your team up for FREE today to avoid disappointment.
