Leisure Leagues 6 a side, the leading provider of 6 a side football leagues in Northern Ireland, today wished Crusaders FC good luck in the Irish Cup Final on Sunday as they look to win the trophy for the second season in succession.
The cup final is a repeat of last season’s match as Crusaders take on Ballymena United, who they defeated 2-1 after extra-time in May 2022 thanks to goals from Josh Robinson and Johnny McMurray.
The match has forced the cancellation of the Belfast 6 a side league – which is held at Crusaders Seaview Ground – this week, but Leisure Leagues 6 a side has praised the league and wished them good luck.
Carita Morris, Area Manager of Leisure Leagues 6 a side, said: “We would like to wish Crusaders FC all the best against Ballymena. We know how hard the team has worked this season and we are confident that they will put on a great show and bring the cup home again.
“We would also like to thank everyone at the club for their continued support. The league has been a huge success and we are delighted to see it expand in recent weeks. We look forward to welcoming new players and teams to the league when it resumes on May 14th.”
Single players and teams are welcome to join the Belfast 6-a-side league. To register, please visit https://www.leisureleagues.net/league/crusaders-fc/belfast-sunday/?ref_c=ztxCzgKEiGx6
