It’s been another record breaking year for Leisure Leagues, as we cement our reputation as the biggest and best 5 and 6 a side football provider in the world.

We’ve revamped the way we give out prizes – and are the only leagues provider to offer a holiday to our league winners – and had some fun along the way, as the prize draw has become a real fixture on Facebook, as thousands of pounds of awards have  been given away.

We’ve expanded out league network, visiting places like Kendal, Buxton, Winsford and Bicester for the first time and adding more nights in places where we already thrive, like Birmingham,  Cannock and Cheshunt.

Our army of partner’s expanded, with local people providing leagues to the communities in which they live, up and down the land, and we have been thrilled to welcome Franchisee’s in Slovakia – where we sold a Master Franchise last month.

That is far from all we have achieved on the global stage in 2018. After 2017’s amazing launch of our leagues in Pakistan, with Ronaldinho and a host of world stars being part of the event, our international future was secured with some investment in the summer, but the biggest event was when we took centre stage at the World Cup.

Thanks to our involvement as founder members of the International Socca Federation Leisure Leagues was right at the forefront as the Germany took the title in the Trunkwala Arena right in Lisbon’s main Praça do Comércio (pictured above.)

We have interacted with the players more often, with ordinary footballers from up and down the country sending in nominations for their team of the week and goal of the month, as well as a host of giveaways and prizes on Facebook – we are the only league provider who offers these benefits.

Our investment in cutting edge technology has continued throughout 2018, with investment in the website reaching record levels as we look to continually push forward – and early in 2019 we will reveal the latest development that is going to be a real game-changer.

But after all this, you know what gives us the biggest buzz and the most pleasure? Running the best leagues we can for you, with the best pitches, referees and pitches – and the highest quality service. We’ve done that for 30 years and we’ll continue to do that well into the future!
