Christmas came a week early for a team in Cannock, and thanks to the Leisure Leagues Prize Draw, it “echo’s” throughout the country.

Fred West Ham, from our Cannock Monday League, were the lucky team pulled out of the winners draw in the December edition, and were left with plenty to celebrate as the prize wheel landed on Amazon Echoes for the whole team.

Our cameras went to Staffordshire this week, to the state of the art 5’s Pavilion that houses our leagues in the area on Sunday and Wednesday – as well as the Monday league-  and were on hand to capture the moment where FWH got their award.

Leisure Leagues Social Media Manager, Olivia West was delighted to presented the lucky lads with their awards and added: “it’s fantastic to go up and down the country giving these brilliant prizes out each month! The best part of the job….except for the cold!” she smiled.

Fred West Ham are just the latest in a long line of teams that have won incredible things in the LL Prize Draw in 2019. We have given over £100,000 worth of prizes away, ranging from two holiday’s to Germany (one of the teams, Class of 09 have already been on their holiday and you can read all about it here) to England tickets and Playstation Games.

The prize draw is one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the LL monthly calendar, and it will carry on in 2020, with the January draw taking place on the 8th, with all the winners, runners-up, MVP’s and Wooden Spoon winners having different draws.  All with the chance to win something amazing.
